I stayed at Uma Loris Ubud for two weeks and absolutely loved it!
While it’s about a 10-minute walk from the main street of Ubud, the location is actually perfect – just far enough to escape the hustle and bustle.
The rooms are super comfortable and air-conditioned (a must in Bali!), with free WiFi that actually works well.
My favourite part was definitely the balcony – I spent every morning watching the sunrise over the palm trees with a cup of coffee in hand. The pool is lovely, too, perfect for cooling off after exploring the town.
The staff are really helpful, offering a shuttle service and they can arrange everything from bicycle rentals to sightseeing tours.
Plus, they even prepare packed lunches if you’re heading out for the day!
Location-wise, you’re just over a kilometre from Ubud Palace, about 2.2 km from the famous Monkey Forest, and close to Saraswati Temple.
I would have no problem recommending this place to people on a smaller more of a budget.

After spending two weeks here ourselves, we found it was plenty of time to explore all of Ubud’s best bits.
Is 3 Days In Ubud Enough?
Three days is plenty of time to explore Ubud. You can discover the town itself in 1–2 days, leaving extra time to visit the amazing attractions nearby. Goa Gajah and Goa Gajah are just examples of what’s waiting to be discovered.
